What the exam is
CCAO-F is the associate level exam for people who use Claude at work. It checks whether you can get reliable results from Claude and use it responsibly with clients and colleagues. The exam guide version is v1.0, effective July 2026.
Who it is for
The guide describes knowledge workers such as ops, marketing, project management, education, communications and consultants, inside organisations and as external consultants. The Partner Academy page names consultants, sellers and delivery leads. The guide does not require coding; it describes the audience as having limited to moderate technical expertise.

The weights add up to 100%. D2 is the heaviest. D7 is the lightest.
How scoring works
The pass mark is 720 on a scale of 100 to 1000. The score is scaled, so 720 is not a fixed percentage of questions. This site does not know how many questions you must answer correctly, and no source here states it.
How the exam is delivered
Registration runs through the Anthropic Partner Academy and the exam is proctored through Pearson VUE.
